It’s time for a Christmas tag! Thank you to the lovely Holly Da Silva for tagging me in her post… check out her blog if you can… I’ve been loving her Blogmas posts!
1. Who makes Christmas Day special for you?
Santa! Haha no in all honesty.. My family, especially my son, Nathan. Christmas with kids is such a magical time… I love seeing his little face excited and happy and sharing those special moments together.
2. Do you prefer your Birthday or Christmas?
I definitely enjoy both but I would say Christmas is more of an all round occasion so I’d say Christmas time is preferred.
3. Use one word to describe your excitement for Christmas
Super…? Because I’m super excited!
4. Most surprising Christmas moment
I’m really not sure!
5. What do you like to do on Christmas break
Spend time with Nathan, eat yummy Christmas food and celebrate. Last year I booked two weeks annual leave over Christmas time to align with the school holidays and I’m doing the same this year.
Nathan spends a few days with his Dad’s side of the family too so I get a little rest during this time and tend to go out for a few drinks with friends on Boxing Day but otherwise it’s all about the little one.
6. What are your favourite holiday traditions?
My Mum always comes over on Christmas Eve, Nathan gets his new xmas pjs and we have a nice cosy night in before the big day. This is our own little tradition that we always look forward to.
Recently, we enjoy our elf on the shelf tradition in the lead up too. Other than that the traditional Christmas food and general activities.
7. What is the best gift you have ever received?
I wouldn’t really say I rate presents from worst to best as that’s just weird to be honest. I like any gifts I am given. I especially love personalised ones or when you can tell someone has really thought about what you would like.
8. What is the worst gift you have ever received?
I’ve not had bad gifts as such, some interesting choices though but still appreciated.
9. What is your all time favourite holiday food/treat?
Oh this is such a hard choice… I like a lot of festive food.
I would say it’s pigs in blankets (dipped in cranberry sauce) followed by Yule log! Yum!
10. What is your favourite Christmas film?
I recently did a post on my 10 favourite Christmas films… I really love Jingle all the way, Home Alone and Elf.
If anyone is still looking for Christmas blog content ideas, feel free to do your own version of this and share it with me.
