The questions/answers

What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

I like the colours of the Autumn leaves – it’s a nice change of scenery from the summer time and a fun background for exploring! Also, the colder evenings give me an excuse to cosy up at home in a nice jumper! It also means the Christmas season is on its way!

Are you taking part in Blogtober?

I am not. For those who don’t know, Blogtober is when you post every day in October, often with an Autumn/Halloween theme. As I’ve only been blogging for 5 months I didn’t think a commitment to posting every day was a good idea for now.

Favourite Autumn drink

Is hot Chocolate an Autumn drink? Colder evenings make me want a warm drink which tends to be hot chocolate (like this one with cream & a flake in my awesome monkey mug!) or a fruit flavoured tea (cranberry, raspberry etc…) Yum!

Favourite Autumn candle

I’m not sure I have a favourite candle to be honest. I love this little wooden style candle holder with a star on it (pictured below) and I like berry scented candles. A cosy night in with candles lit on an Autumn night is lovely.

Favourite item of clothing for Autumn?

A cosy jumper, a bit of tartan and a good pair of boots.

Do you decorate your home for Halloween or Autumn?

Not really, I already have some skulls and sugar skulls around my home to be honest as we quite like them! My son and I painted this sugar skull ornament a couple of days ago for some extra Halloween themed decor though.

What do you do on Halloween?

It depends really – last year I took my son trick or treating which was fun. I’ve also had Halloween nights out & parties in previous years.

This year, I am holding a Halloween disco for my work on the Monday night then we might do trick or treating again on the 31st.
